TheEarlyPedalHarp.net is an online multi-disciplinary research community of harpists, harp makers, conservators, restorers, historians, museum curators, musicians, musicologists, and organologists.
It aims to represent the 'state of current research' into single- and double-action pedal harps (c1700-1840) and their immediate predecessors, and invites contributions from, and discourse with all who are interested the harp and its music. Contributions are also welcome from researchers of instruments of the same period and those in the related fields of musicology, cultural and social history.
Anyone can join and it is free. Blog posts are reserved for well-researched but short articles and the Forum is a place to ask questions and hold discussions.
